Bookkeeper - Temp to Hire

Location: Roseville, CA
Compensation: $26-$30 per hour

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing company in Roseville that is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable accounting professional looking for long-term stability within a supportive and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Post and reconcile daily transactions into the general ledger
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process expense reports and assist with vendor payments
  • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and accruals
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Prepare basic financial reports for management
  • Support the accounting team with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) or similar ERP
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
